Lochlan clocked the fastest closing sectional in that return run, and by all reports, he’s come back better than ever.

Great news, Travis is already on the lookout for a race for Lochlan this week as he begins his comeback following minor surgery.
We’re absolutely thrilled to have him back in work. The procedure has healed nicely, and he’s been training well over the past week, showing us all the signs that he’s ready to return to the track.
We had originally expected a longer layoff, especially given how things progressed with Nymeria. But Lochlan has responded extremely well to treatment, and at this stage, the inflammation has cleared and the site is complet

🏇Lochlan Hanover’s Next Chapter
On Monday, Lochlan Hanover returned to the yard from the training track with a concerning wheeze. That same day, our vet performed a dynamic scope, which revealed inflammation and swelling that has been affecting his breathing.
While his ongoing asthma treatments and sessions on the nebuliser have brought some relief, it has become clear that surgery is now the best path forward.
This wasn’t the plan for Lochlan’s breakout year, but like Kinda Lucky Lindy before him, Lochlan will undergo tieback surgery to help open his air

This is an update from the team and Travis.
Kinda Lucky Lindy had a great workout on the track, doing ¾ pace work alongside Nymeria. Both horses clocked times just over two minutes, with Nymeria just extending a gap to the line.
He travelled very well during the hit-out and closed off strongly, giving Nymeria a little cheek to the line.

Kinda Lucky Lindy will compete in the North America Amateur Drivers Association Trotting Series and with that comes a change in driver.
Taking the reins on Wednesday (06/18) at Yonkers will be Joe Faraldo. Joe is a well-respected amateur driver who was named National Amateur Driver of the Year in 2000 and has recorded over 150 pari-mutuel wins, including several in Italy.
Known on the track as "Smokin' Joe," he is perhaps better recognized as the Chairman of the Board of the United States Trotting Association (USTA) @USTrotting, as well as Chairman of USTA

The series is for amateur drivers and consists of preliminary legs, each with a purse of $13,100.
The final will take place after all legs are completed, with prize money expected to be around $26,000.
Driver Joseph Faraldo has been named to drive KINDA LUCKY LINDY.

Our 3YO gelding LOCHLAN HANOVER performed very well in his first ever race at Yonkers tonight.
From PP #4, Lochlan broke with vigor, pulling alongside # 3 BEANZY FRESH into the first bend as #6 HAZARDOUS joined the fight for the lead, 3 wide.
Along the back straight, LOCHLAN took the front with HAZARDOUS pressing first over as the second bend approached.
Near the third bend, P A PIPER launched a move from deep in the field, going first over for the front.
P A PIPER would fade around the final bend, leaving HAZARDOUS and LOCHLAN HANOVER to battle for the win.

🏇BEANTOWN BABE
In Race 7 last night, BEANTOWN BABE would fly out from PP #3 being headed off for the lead by # 2 STORMY SERENA and the favorite for the race settling in 4th, STAY HAPPY.
The field cruised the first quarter clocking a 27.1 and laboured along the second quarter being run in 57 seconds flat.
The #1 DISTANT LOVER would come first over on the 3rd bend and looked to give STAY HAPPY a perfect trail into the race. Instead she started to go backwards as the pace increased pushing STAY HAPPY 3 wide into the final bend.
