Trump discouraged Israel from attacking Iran, and Israel scaled back the size of the strike

According to reporters, U.S. President Trump called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and asked him to completely refrain from any attack on Iran. Netanyahu told Trump that he could not cancel the attack and needed some kind of response to Iran's violation of the ceasefire. Eventually, (Israel) decided to drastically scale back the attack and cancel the attack on a large number of targets.
