Wall Street: Predicts that the 2-year US Treasury yield will decrease by 50 basis points next year

Golden Finance reported that despite the imminent threat of President Trump's trade and tax policies to the bond market, Wall Street still derives inspiration from the Fed, predicting that the short-term U.S. Treasury yield will decline by 50 basis points or more from its current level 12 months from now, which is more sensitive to the Fed's interest rate policy. The median forecast of 12 strategists is that the 2-year US Treasury yield will drop by about 50 basis points to 3.75% in a year. For the longer-term 10-year US Treasury, strategists believe that the yield was around 4.52% last Friday and will reach 4.25% by the end of 2025, which is about 25 basis points lower than the current level.
