The mainland virtual coin eyewash has reached Hong Kong, with over a hundred locals deceived and 4 people arrested by the police.
BlockBeats news, on July 18, according to Caixin reports, the mainland virtual coin investment eyewash has extended to Hong Kong, with at least 118 people falling into the eyewash, resulting in a total loss of approximately 3.2 million HKD. The Hong Kong police revealed that on July 15, they arrested four local Hong Kong residents for "conspiracy to defraud". They are suspected of holding promotional banquets for the mainland virtual coin eyewash, attracting victims and collecting scam funds amounting to 3.89 million HKD. Except for a small amount that has been withdrawn, the remaining approximately 3.2 million HKD has not yet been recovered.
