Mango Network will airdrop 5% of the total MGO supply, and eligibility check is now open.
According to Gate News bot, as reported by Cryptonews, Layer 1 blockchain project Mango Network announced on Friday that it will conduct a community airdrop ahead of its token generation event (TGE). The team will distribute 5% of the total supply of its native token MGO to early users, testnet participants, and community contributors.
The airdrop eligibility checker is now online, users can connect their wallets and complete three steps to confirm and finally receive rewards.
Token distribution will begin on June 24 and will be issued in the order of receipt.
First, users must "bind" their X account, which means linking their profile to the Mango platform to verify their identity and activity. They also need to follow Mango's ecosystem partner BeingDEX.
After linking personal information, users can continue to verify their Airdrop shares. The countdown timer on the website will mark the remaining time to confirm eligibility.
Then, users can view and confirm their Airdrop shares. After confirmation, the last step is that users will claim their rewards when the claim window opens on June 24 at 17:50 UTC.
Unlike typical airdrops based solely on the total number of points, Mango adopts a weighted system. Token distribution will not only reflect the number of points users have, but also the quality of their participation in the testnet and any community roles they hold, such as OG status.
