BlockBeats news, on February 15th, CryptoQuant analyst Maartunn wrote that the average transaction fee for BTC is currently 0.000013 BTC (about $1.27), reaching the lowest point in years. In May 2023, December 2023, and April 2024, BTC's Money Laundering has surged several times. These pumps were mainly driven by the introduction of the Runes protocol and the significant pump in BTC price. At that time, the number of unconfirmed transactions in the mempool increased significantly, leading users to pay higher fees for faster confirmations.
