[Several senators from the U.S. Senate Banking Committee released a discussion draft on the structure of the crypto market] According to crypto assets reporter Eleanor Terrett, U.S. Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott, Senator Cynthia Lummis, Senator Bill Hagerty, and Senator Bernie Moreno jointly released the long-awaited discussion draft on the structure of the crypto market. The draft was originally scheduled for release last week but was postponed due to internal disputes in the House of Representatives. The draft proposes new regulations in areas such as token classification, regulatory decentralization, banking operations, information disclosure, and illicit finance, based on the already passed House "CLARITY Act" and the Lummis-Gillibrand bill.
