Musk confirms that the "American Party" will accept Bitcoin.
Gate News bot news, Elon Musk confirmed on Sunday that his proposed "America Party" — an alternative to the two-party system of the Democratic and Republican parties — will accept Bitcoin. Musk made the above statement in response to a user's question on X about whether the "America Party" would accept Bitcoin. He expressed his endorsement of Bitcoin while also holding a skeptical attitude towards fiat currency.
On Saturday, Musk announced the establishment of the "American Party" to protest a $33 trillion spending bill recently passed by Donald Trump. Musk expressed his dissent on this matter. Previously, a poll on X showed that Musk's fans strongly supported the initiative. Despite Musk's bold claim, there are currently no signs that he has taken any concrete steps to form the party.
