To trade ranges using Volume Profile, identify Value Area High (VAH) and Value Area Low (VAL) as key resistance and support.
If this coincides with your PA range, it's even better.
Use Point of Control (POC) as a mean reversion target.
Look for longs at VAL and shorts at VAH.
VAH is where 70% of the volume is based.
Watch for breakouts vs. fakeouts, true breakouts show strong volume acceptance beyond high and low volume nodes, failure to break above or below usually results in reversion back to the value area.
