Valkyrie Files for Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF
Valkyrie Funds has filed an application for permission to convert its Bitcoin Futures ETF (BTF) into a spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF from October 3.
Valkyrie stated that the Valkyrie Bitcoin Strategy ETF will change its core investment strategy to pursue investment intent through a different management exposure.
Valkyrie also expressed her request to change the name of the fund by using it in the application. The asset management firm has proposed to refer to the new fund as the Valkyrie Bitcoin and Ether Strategy ETF.
Valkyrie has requested a change to an existing Bitcoin Futures ETF; Valkyrie wants to continue this ETF as a spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF.
