Trump's victory may boost Bitcoin and strengthen gold, institutional investment plans to increase BTC

Recent analyses have pointed out that if Trump wins the U.S. presidential election, gold and Bitcoin may perform exceptionally well. This view emphasizes the concept of "devaluation trade," which is a strategy to cope with currency devaluation or weakness by investing in certain assets. This devaluation often arises from Inflation or expansionary fiscal policies. In such cases, investors tend to buy assets like gold and Bitcoin, which are seen as store of value, because even when the purchasing power of currency declines, these assets can maintain their value.

Analysts point out that since last summer, investments in gold and Bitcoin ETFs have shown an upward trend, which is expected to continue until 2025. The participation of retail investors is also driving this phenomenon. Trump's policies may further support the performance of these two assets.

In addition, a company recently announced an ambitious Bitcoin acquisition plan known as the "21/21 Plan". This plan aims to raise $42 billion in funding over the next three years, with $21 billion coming from equity and another $21 billion from fixed-income securities. Analysts indicate that the company plans to invest $10 billion in Bitcoin in 2025, an amount roughly equivalent to its total purchases accumulated since mid-2020. This move is believed to potentially further boost the Bitcoin market.

Overall, with changes in the political landscape and active participation of institutional investors, gold and Bitcoin as tools to hedge against Inflation and currency devaluation may receive more attention in the coming years.
