The White House reiterated its support for Trump's nomination of Brian Quintenz as chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), despite the delay in the nomination vote. Quintenz previously served as a CFTC commissioner and worked in the cryptocurrency division of the venture capital firm a16z. He stated that he would resign from other positions if confirmed.
