The message conveyed by the U.S. side is harsher than the news release from the Chinese side:

1) the only consensus, the extension on 8·12 needs to be paused and will have to be reported to the president before proceeding;
2) accuses China of overcapacity and trade imbalance;
3) communicated with the Chinese side about launching a 232 investigation and promoting the return of semiconductor and biopharmaceutical manufacturing to the United States.
4) rare earth, the only export control we are discussing today is the Eastern export control on rare earths, and the US export control is not the subject of discussion.
5) purchase of sanctioned oil from Russia, anyone buying sanctioned Russian oil should be prepared for this.
