U.S. tariffs are accelerating the reshaping of the global Supply Chain. According to a report by research firm Canalys, in the second quarter, the total number of smartphones assembled in India rose by 240% year-on-year, accounting for 44% of total U.S. smartphone imports, compared to just 13% in the same period last year. Data shows that India has become the largest smartphone supply market for the U.S., followed by Vietnam, which accounts for 30% of U.S. smartphone import share, while China accounts for 25%.
