Recently, @arbitrum made it clear: AI can not only run on-chain but also create many possibilities. They directly provided a list of inspirations to help developers think outside the box, covering everything from NFT to Decentralized Finance, from trading to DAO, all of which are viable directions.
For example, some teams are already using Rust to write contracts that allow AI to automatically generate artworks; there are also Agents that can upgrade their own code, essentially patching themselves. A more advanced version is the trading strategy Agent, which can not only place orders but also engage in complex interactions, such as on-chain market making, Taker trading, and even cross-chain routing. If you can create an agent capable of fully executing the DeFi arbitrage process, the official has also stated that it will "add points."
I am particularly interested in the "community Agent" and "collaboration Agent" they mentioned. An Agent that can assist DAO members in managing proposals and enhance community engagement is actually a fundamental infrastructure that is lacking in Web3. And collaborative Agents, for example, those that can autonomously break down tasks and distribute them to other Agents for completion, are even more akin to multi-agent systems in AI, with more imaginative possibilities for on-chain execution.
Overall, Arbitrum is no longer just a low-fee infrastructure; it is more like attracting AI developers with actual resources to make this ecosystem smarter and more dynamic. The next wave of on-chain innovation may not be a specific DeFi product explosion, but rather an AI Agent creating a whole set of intelligent processes on-chain. This scenario now seems to be truly taking shape.
