Recently, the Supreme Court in Beijing held a seminar on the judicial treatment of virtual currencies, exploring current research progress and key issues. The head of the research group noted that he had visited the United States, where the financial characteristics of virtual currencies were identified but he faced challenges in handling them. It is expected that processing mechanisms in the future will move towards the enforcement office of the court, with increased transparency of costs and enhanced cooperation between departments. Overall, judicial dealing with virtual currencies still requires support from theory and practice.
