Aptos partners with Microsoft to create an AI-driven Web3 future
Aptos Labs and Microsoft Reach Strategic Cooperation to Promote the Integration of AI and Web3
Aptos Labs recently announced a multi-year partnership with tech giant Microsoft, aimed at creating new opportunities for exploration and development in Web3. This collaboration will leverage Microsoft's Azure OpenAI services and Aptos's blockchain technology to provide developers with more resources and tools.
This collaboration is a continuation of Aptos's relentless pursuit of a decentralized, user-oriented internet vision over the past five years. The focus of both parties' cooperation is on developer-friendly design, providing them with a secure and reliable infrastructure that enables them to concentrate on user experience and consumer-oriented innovation.
As part of the collaboration, Aptos will leverage Microsoft's infrastructure to deploy new products that combine AI and blockchain technology. This includes a chatbot named Aptos Assistant, which will answer users' questions about the Aptos ecosystem and provide resources for developers creating smart contracts and decentralized applications. This chatbot is powered by Microsoft's Azure OpenAI service.
In addition, Aptos has integrated its native programming language Move into an AI programming tool on a certain code hosting platform to support "contract development, unit testing, formatting, and proof program specifications".
The CEO of Aptos Labs stated: "One important reason why AI and blockchain technology are rapidly merging is that they are both breakthroughs of a generation, having a profound impact on the evolution of the internet and the shaping of society."
Rashmi Misra, General Manager of AI and Emerging Technologies at Microsoft, also stated: "By integrating Aptos Labs' technology with Microsoft Azure's open AI service capabilities, our goal is to make blockchain usage more widespread, allowing users to seamlessly connect to Web3 while innovators can leverage AI to develop exciting decentralized applications."
Both parties also agreed to explore blockchain-based financial service products, including asset tokenization, payments, and central bank digital currencies, to expand the application scenarios of blockchain. Aptos will run validation nodes on Microsoft Azure to enhance the security of its network.
It is worth mentioning that Aptos is one of the blockchains with the lowest latency and highest throughput in the current market, with a time to finality (TTF) of less than one second, which is a significant breakthrough in the industry. In July of this year, the weekly trading volume of Aptos users reached 4.9 million and is on an upward trend. Since going live autonomously, with the support of the community, Aptos has been upgrading its blockchain almost every month, continuously setting new industry standards while providing ongoing support for developers worldwide.
The collaboration between Aptos Labs and Microsoft will undoubtedly bring new possibilities for the integration of Web3 and AI, and is expected to promote further popularization and innovative applications of blockchain technology.
