Ripple issuance of RLUSD has received top ratings from blue chips.

## USDC ranks 1st

The firm BlueChip, which rates stablecoins, announced on the 17th that it has awarded the highest rating of A to the RLUSD stablecoin issued by Ripple, certifying it as the most trustworthy stablecoin in the market. The agency began the official rating of RLUSD in January, considering it a new standard of reliability in the industry.

One of the main reasons for the A rating is that BNY Mellon, the world's largest financial securities custodian, manages the reserves of RLUSD. BNY Mellon holds $56 trillion in assets and provides strong protection for token holders, as emphasized by Blue Chip. Additionally, Circle, which issues USDC, also utilizes BNY Mellon.

It was also evaluated that RLUSD has superior transparency compared to USDT. RLUSD provides publicly verifiable reserves and a clear custodial relationship, alleviating concerns about undisclosed assets. It was analyzed that the enterprise architecture achieves a lower risk profile than USDT.

Furthermore, this stablecoin has become one of the first major stablecoins to enter the European market through Ripple's registration in Luxembourg.

Although RLUSD ranked first in blue-chip ratings, there is still a significant gap in market size. According to data, the market capitalization of USDT exceeds 160 billion USD, USDC is at 64.5 billion USD, while RLUSD stands at approximately 530 million USD.

Ripple announced that it has received a rating certification, stating that RLUSD is a stablecoin specifically built for corporate use. It is described as featuring a design focused on compliance, global scale, and robust security.
