PANews reported on July 17 that according to CoinDesk, CME Group, the world's largest derivatives exchange, said that it has no plans to launch derivatives related to meme coins due to the lack of practical application scenarios. The CME has recently expanded into Solana and XRP futures and has attracted a large number of institutional investors, with billions of dollars in trading volume on related products. In addition, CME is exploring whether to extend trading hours to 24/7 to better align with the crypto market, but has not yet made a formal decision.
