The U.S. House of Representatives will vote on three Crypto Assets bills, and the DeFi community has successfully advocated for protective clauses.
According to Techub News, as reported by Crypto In America, the U.S. House of Representatives plans to vote on three important Crypto Assets bills during "Crypto Assets Week", including the GENIUS Act, the CLARITY Act, and the anti-CBDC surveillance state bill. The CLARITY Act has recently sparked controversy, with the DeFi community accusing the CME Group of attempting to protect its dominant position in the futures market by modifying the bill's terms, thereby restricting the development of decentralized trading protocols. Under the active lobbying of organizations such as the DeFi Education Fund, lawmakers have restored key provisions to protect decentralized developers. The Senate will also release its market structure discussion draft and hold hearings focusing on federal regulation of digital goods. In addition, the House fundraising oversight subcommittee has rescheduled a hearing on Crypto Assets tax policy to Wednesday.
