Jin10 Data, July 7 - The Reserve Bank of New Zealand's year-long interest rate cut cycle may soon face a temporary pause. Most economists predict that the Reserve Bank of New Zealand will keep the interest rate unchanged this week while signaling a dovish stance to assess the effectiveness of the economic recovery. The bank recently stated that the interest rate has entered a neutral zone, downplaying the urgency of further cuts, and hinted that future rate cuts may occur on a quarterly basis rather than adjusting at every policy meeting. It is worth noting that there were differing opinions at the last monetary policy meeting. Given the current economic recovery momentum is still unstable, further interest rate cuts within the year remain a possibility.
