Overview of Global Blockchain Investment and Financing Last Week

According to incomplete statistics, there were a total of 16 financing events in the global Blockchain sector last week (from June 23 to June 29), with a total funding scale exceeding 272 million USD. An overview of various sub-sectors is as follows:

DeFi Field

DeFi infrastructure company Veda has completed a $18 million financing round, led by a well-known crypto investment institution. Veda provides a modular vault framework that supports developers in building simplified DeFi yield products, having processed over 100,000 user deposits and managed assets exceeding $3.7 billion.

The DEX GTE based on MegaETH has completed a $15 million Series A financing. GTE claims to be "the fastest decentralized exchange in the world," using a centralized limit order book mechanism, with trading latency on par with mainstream centralized exchanges, while maintaining decentralized characteristics. GTE has been built on the EVM-compatible MegaETH Blockchain, attracting approximately 700,000 users on its testnet.

Multi-chain DeFi infrastructure company Blueprint Finance has completed a $9.5 million financing round. The company is dedicated to simplifying the process for cryptocurrency holders to participate in DeFi lending, having launched two products, Concrete and Glow, which cover the Ethereum and Solana ecosystems, respectively. The new funding will be used for team expansion, technological research and development, and marketing.

DeFi infrastructure company Yield.xyz has secured $5 million in strategic financing. The company, formerly known as the multi-chain wallet Omni, is now transforming into a yield aggregation platform. Yield.xyz integrates over 200 yield sources from the Solana ecosystem through a unified API, providing plug-and-play DeFi yield features for wallets and crypto applications.

The private equity tokenization platform Jarsy has completed a $5 million Pre-Seed round of financing. The platform provides retail investors with the opportunity to invest in pre-IPO companies by issuing tokens that are 1:1 anchored to private company equity, with a minimum investment threshold of $10.

Institutional-level DeFi execution engine Makina has completed a $3 million strategic round of financing. Makina Finance is a DeFi execution engine that empowers AI agents, asset management, and various users to deploy institutional-grade, risk-adjusted yield strategies on-chain.

Sphinx, a blockchain-based institutional-grade commodity derivatives exchange, has completed a $2 million Pre-seed funding round. Sphinx is built on its own permissioned Layer 1 Blockchain and provides 24/7 direct access to futures, options, and perpetual contracts for oil, natural gas, and other energy commodities.

Dubai-based RWA tokenization infrastructure developer Byzanlink has completed a $1 million private placement financing. The company is registered in Dubai Multi Commodities Centre and is dedicated to providing institutional-grade tokenization solutions for traditional assets such as private equity, credit, and real estate through blockchain technology.

Web3 Game Field

Game developer Endless Clouds has secured $6.25 million in funding and launched a new token, END, as the premium currency of its ecosystem. The first project to integrate END is the open-world MMORPG "Treeverse," with more games to be included in the future.

Game developer Spekter Games has completed a $5 million pre-seed funding round. Its first Web3 game, Spekter Agency, is now live. The funding will be used to expand the business of Spekter Agency to more platforms, including other chat-based super applications and traditional mobile app stores.

DePIN领域

DePIN has completed a $3.15 million financing with the enterprise-level cloud platform dKloud. dKloud is a decentralized cloud infrastructure platform that connects DePIN with enterprise-level IT. It allows enterprises to deploy applications using cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies without the operational burden of managing multiple systems. The platform also features a marketplace where developers can contribute reusable tools and earn DKT tokens.

Infrastructure and Tools

The developer of the privacy Blockchain Canton Network, Digital Asset, has completed a $135 million strategic financing. Canton Network, which is centered around configurable privacy, has attracted multiple companies to test RWAs on its platform. This financing will help Canton Network further expand the coverage of RWAs.

The privacy-focused confidential Blockchain protocol Zama has completed a $57 million Series B financing at a valuation of $1 billion. Zama provides cross-chain privacy solutions for developers through fully homomorphic encryption technology, supporting the deployment of "confidential smart contracts" on existing Blockchains. The protocol currently supports 20 transactions per second and plans to enhance this to over 10,000 transactions per second on a single chain through dedicated hardware accelerators.

Inference Labs completes $6.3 million in strategic financing for its encrypted trust infrastructure. The "Proof of Inference" zero-knowledge proof protocol developed by the company provides a decentralized verification layer for AI models, ensuring the verifiability of output results while protecting model privacy.

Other Fields

The decentralized entertainment platform MEET48 has received investment. MEET48 integrates virtual performances, idol management games, and offline activities, aiming to reach over 30 million fans in Asia, and plans to hold a large-scale Web3 idol performance gala in Hong Kong on August 2.

Centralized Finance Sector

The Bitcoin financial platform Castle has completed a $1 million Pre-Seed round of financing. The platform provides automated Bitcoin allocation solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises, allowing them to automatically convert their sales revenue into Bitcoin at a set ratio. The platform has integrated with mainstream payment tools, serving clients across industries such as catering, e-commerce, and real estate.

Venture Capital Firm Dynamics

Sentinel Global's first fund has completed fundraising of $213.5 million, intending to invest in Blockchain and decentralized networks among other fields. The fund has currently invested in about 10 companies and will focus on startup companies in Series A to Series C stages.

A certain crypto giant has completed its first external fundraising of $175 million for a risk fund, focusing on investments in stablecoins, decentralized finance, and other areas at the intersection of traditional finance and Blockchain.

The newly established crypto venture capital fund Frachtis has completed a $20 million fundraising round, focusing on the intersection of Blockchain and artificial intelligence. Frachtis will invest in decentralized infrastructure, middleware, and consumer applications, and has currently positioned itself in 8 projects.
