Abstract generation in progress

Ripple has signed an important collaboration that enables the tokenization of U.S. Treasury bonds on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). As part of this strategic partnership, the fintech company has joined forces with Ondo Finance to incorporate a product called OUSG into the blockchain ecosystem.

The OUSG product is offered to investors as a tokenized asset representing short-term U.S. Treasury bonds. Investors can mint and redeem OUSG tokens instantly. Behind this process is Ripple's stablecoin called RLUSD. RLUSD provides investors with the opportunity to access short-term Treasury bonds on-chain 24/7 without the need for traditional financial intermediaries.

Thanks to the partnership, the RLUSD stablecoin serves as a bridge currency in OUSG transactions. This allows for fast and efficient transactions on the XRPL network. By overcoming delays and bureaucratic obstacles experienced in traditional systems, a more transparent and accessible Treasury bond trading environment is created.

The price of ONDO token has increased by approximately 2.5% in the last 24 hours.
