The U.S. Department of Justice seized $200,000 in Crypto Assets funding supporting Hamas.

According to the Gate.io News bot and Cointelegraph, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has seized a batch of crypto assets worth over $200,000. This batch of funds is stored in 17 wallets and is associated with multiple fundraising addresses.

The investigation shows that since October 2024, these fundraising Addresses have completed over $1.5 million in money laundering transactions through cryptocurrency exchanges and over-the-counter brokers. The U.S. Department of Justice confirms that these Crypto Assets funds were used to support the radical organization Hamas.
