Biden administration pressures, Gaza famine report withdrawn

On December 28th, Jinshi Data reported that, according to the website of Al Jazeera, the Biden administration is facing criticism because a report supported by the United States on the famine in Gaza was withdrawn this week, sparking accusations of US political intervention and pro-Israel bias. The report, written by the Early Warning System on Global Food Insecurity, warned of a "famine situation" in northern Gaza during Israel's war on Gaza. The Associated Press quoted an unnamed US official as saying that the US requested the report to be withdrawn.
