SoftBank seeks to cooperate with TSMC and plans to build a trillion-dollar artificial intelligence center in the U.S.

Gate News bot message, SoftBank Group founder Masayoshi Son is seeking to collaborate with TSMC to realize his biggest bet to date – establishing a trillion-dollar industrial park in Arizona for the manufacturing of Bots and artificial intelligence.

According to informed sources, Masayoshi Son envisions establishing a large manufacturing center similar to Shenzhen, China, code-named "Project Crystal Land," with the goal of bringing high-tech manufacturing back to the United States. Sources indicate that the park may include production lines for artificial intelligence industrial Bots.

SoftBank executives are eager to have the manufacturer producing advanced AI chips from Nvidia play a significant role in the project, although it is currently unclear what Masayoshi Son expects from TSMC. TSMC has planned to invest $165 billion in the U.S. and has started mass production at its first factory located in Arizona. It is also unclear whether TSMC would be interested in this. According to an informed source, SoftBank's project is unrelated to TSMC's plans in Phoenix.

SoftBank's stock price rose 2.3% in Tokyo on Friday. TSMC's stock price increased by 1.9% in Taipei.
