ChainCatcher News, Judge Keyser KC of the UK rejects the application of James Howells, an IT engineer from Newport, Wales, to recover the $735 million worth of BTC hard drive buried in the Newport landfill, citing environmental risks. The Newport City Council has consistently denied access to the landfill where the hard drive was accidentally thrown away in 2013. According to the BBC, the judge believes that there is 'no realistic prospect of success' in this case.
