Bitcoin hit a fresh all-time high of $124,457.12 early on August 14.

While Ethereum is currently trading at $4,748.24, just 3% below its all-time high, which it previously scaled in November 2021.

Ethereum ETFs see second-largest daily inflows

US spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded $729.1 million in net inflows on Wednesday, marking their second-largest single-day inflows since launch, according to SoSoValue data.

BlackRock’s ETHA led the activity with $500.9 million in inflows, followed by Fidelity’s FETH with $154.7 million.

Four other spot ETFs also reported positive flows.

The strong performance followed Monday’s record-setting $1.02 billion in inflows and Tuesday’s $523.9 million, underscoring the rising institutional and retail interest in the asset.

Ethereum’s price rose 2.4% over the past 24 hours to $4,748.24 as of 5:30 am EST on Thursday, moving closer to its all-time high of $4,878 set in November 2021.

Standard Chartered has revised its year-end Ethereum price forecast upward to $7,500 from $4,000, citing factors including corporate treasury adoption, ETF demand, evolving US stablecoin regulation, and improving technical fundamentals.

Meanwhile, spot bitcoin ETFs in the US posted $86.9 million in net inflows on Wednesday, compared to $65.9 million the previous day and $178.2 million on Monday.

Bitcoin traded above $124,400 at one point on Wednesday, setting a new all-time high, before settling at $121,808.51 at the time of writing — up 1.6% in 24 hours.

Bitcoin Penguins taps meme power and Bitcoin branding

Amid the buoyant crypto market backdrop, Bitcoin Penguins (BPENGU) has been generating attention as a potential contender in the meme coin sector.
