Whether you’re new to KuCoin or have experience using the platform, knowing how to securely withdraw your funds is always essential. KuCoin supports a variety of crypto and fiat withdrawal options. However, if you make a mistake, select the wrong network, or input an incorrect address, you could permanently lose your assets.
Step 1: Log into your KuCoin account
On either the mobile app or the website, log in and select the Assets tab.
Step 2: Access the withdrawal function
In Asset Overview, click Withdraw to go to the withdrawal page.
Step 3: Select the asset you want to withdraw
Choose your desired crypto, such as USDT, BTC, or ETH, from the list. The platform will display the available networks for the chosen asset.
Step 4: Enter the recipient address and pick the correct network
Recipient address: This is the wallet where your funds will be sent. Double-check it for accuracy.
Network selection: For assets like USDT, you can choose TRC20, ERC20, BEP20, and more. Make sure the selected network matches the recipient wallet. Choosing the wrong network can lead to unrecoverable losses.
Step 5: Specify the withdrawal amount and review fees
Input how much you want to withdraw. The system will automatically display applicable fees and your net amount. Click Confirm Withdrawal to proceed.
Step 6: Complete security verification
Complete the required authentication methods such as Google Authenticator, SMS codes, or email verification codes to submit your withdrawal request.
Step 1: Convert crypto to fiat
If your holdings are in USDT, BTC, or another crypto, convert them to a fiat currency (such as EUR) on the platform first.
Step 2: Navigate to the fiat withdrawal page
Go to Assets > Fiat Account and choose your desired fiat currency for withdrawal.
Step 3: Select a withdrawal method
KuCoin typically offers a “Bank Transfer” option. First-time users must add and verify a bank account.
Step 4: Enter withdrawal amount and submit
Enter the withdrawal amount and submit your request. Some currencies (such as EUR) may require a small verification deposit.
If you want to send funds to another KuCoin user:
Note: If you require an on-chain transaction record, uncheck “Internal Transfer” and initiate an on-chain transfer to obtain a TXID.
Withdrawing from KuCoin is straightforward, but you must pay careful attention to details to keep your assets secure. Follow each step, double-check network and address information, and you will be able to move funds, whether to a cold wallet, another exchange, or a bank account, with confidence. If you run into problems, KuCoin customer support is available for prompt assistance to help you keep your assets secure at every stage.
